Business Development Manager (Residential Segment)

Become our Business Development Manager (Residential Segment) and convert opportunities into solid sustainable partnerships.


Main responsibilities and key tasks

•    You are the driving force behind generating new sales leads and contracts.
•    You see and seize opportunities and convert them into solid and sustainable partnerships.
•    You are experienced in negotiations with decision makers, and are knowledgeable of the B2B route to market and the sales processes.

•    You research and analyze market information, work closely with the customer in order to help define our product that perfectly meets his/her requirements.
     You share this information with your colleagues and play an active role in the development of innovative and sustainable products and segment strategies.
•    You will actively participate in events and exhibitions within the textile industry in order to provide feedback on market trends.
•    In function of the customer retention, you are responsible for maintaining our customer contacts and evaluating the cooperation on a regular basis to identify changes in customer needs.
•    You are based in Belgium, but you will travel up to 40% of your time.
•    You report directly to the Sales and Marketing Director.


Competences and skills

•    You have at least 4 – 5 years of experience in a commercial position where business development was central. 
•    You are familiar with a B2B context. Experience within the soft flooring business (needle punched and/or tuft carpets) is a must.
•    You are commercially driven and always looking for the most suitable solution for the customer.
•    You are an initiator who works efficiently, structured and result oriented.
•    You have excellent interpersonal skills with a sociable and confident personality. 




You have a good knowledge of English and Dutch; knowledge of other languages is an asset
