Main responsibilities and key tasks
This position will work within the Maintenance Department and serves as a multi-craft mechanic in a fast paced environment. Duties include supporting full-site operations with equipment service repair, painting, insulating, and welding.
Competencies and skills
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of related work experience in at least 2 of these areas: welding, pipefitting, millwright, painting, insulation or scaffold-building.
• Certifications in welding, pipefitting, and millwright preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
• Must be willing and able to serve as a member of the Emergency Response Team (ERT) at the Company's discretion.
• Must be willing and able to work a 12-hour rotating shift, including nights, weekends, holidays, overtime, and on-call as needed.
• Must be willing and able to work at various elevations and positions including heights of 125 feet or above.
• Must be familiar with and be able to wear proper PPE including respirator and FRC.
• Must be willing and able to safely, effectively and efficiently carry out written and verbal job-related instructions, and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Must have working knowledge of personal computers utilizing Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to accurately and neatly complete administrative forms and reports in a timely manner.
