MISSION
The quality manager is ultimately responsible for the quality of operations within the division. He ensures the quality of all production, from raw material to finished product, to deliver high-quality products and avoid financial losses due to quality problems or complaints. He is also in charge of management systems to optimize and guarantee the quality and environment of the different business processes.
Also, complaint management and customer contact if necessary. Expansion of quality assurance both internally and externally (market).
Introduction of techniques to improve quality assurance.
Responsible for the design and execution of the Quality Control and Quality Assurance Plan.
PERMANENT RESULT AREAS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Manage comprehensive quality assurance within the Division: ensure that quality is treated as a priority in the Division's strategy and that it is a focus for everyone in the company.
2. Handling and analyzing customer complaints and non-quality productions; Participate in the process of developing proposals to prevent errors or complaints.
3. Coordinating and consulting with Production and Operations, Sales and Marketing, and Product Development managers in order to optimize quality processes. Proposing process improvement actions.
4. Handling quality management systems.
5. Coordination and follow-up of audits within the framework of obtaining or maintaining product quality certificates.
6. Responsible for the implementation of the care system (ISO 9001-ISO 14001- ISO 45001): internal and external resources (people, machines, systems, budget).
7. Performing internal quality audits of the company.
8. Establish quality requirements for raw materials from suppliers and supervise their compliance.
9. Monitor all production procedures to identify non-compliance with quality standards.
10. Establish KPIs to measure the quality level of the different production areas. Determination of non-quality costs and their reasons.
11. Development of product quality optimizations (PO) and follow-up of the actions in a methodical way.
12. To promote the culture of quality in the company.
PROFILE
Education and years of experience: At least 3 years of experience in a similar managerial position. Engineering Training, with a specialty in Quality, Production Management or Process Improvement
Languages: English & Spanish Advanced level
Know-how:
- Training in audits, S/R, Environmental Management System
- Knowledge in internal IMS, 8D's, paretos, QOS, FMEAs, control plans, work folders, data analysis, statistical control, SPC, PPK, R&R
- Show capabilities in communication, customer management, resolution, and organization
- Proactive, autonomous person, with a character capable of making their own decisions
- PC proficient (knowledge of current MS Office packages)
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 14064, ISO 166002, Sedex, Agenda 2030 certifications and quality assurance techniques.
