Main responsibilities and key tasks
- In collaboration with the BDM, execute tailored strategies to transition existing customers toward higher-margin market segments, focusing on packaging, healthcare, and personal care sector.
- Onboard new customers from strategic segments ensuring alignment with the company’s strategy for Key Accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, acting as their primary point of contact and as the “voice of the customer” internally to ensure satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
- Leverage the CRM tool to maintain detailed and up-to-date records of customer interactions, preferences, and purchase histories to foster strong relationships with key accounts
- Identify opportunities for growth and competitive positioning within the targeted strategic segments and key account base
- Lead complex sales negotiations, including pricing adjustments, contract renewals, and supply agreements aligned with business and customer needs.
- Prepare clear value propositions that align with customer goals while addressing challenges such as cost pressures and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor customer performance metrics to ensure alignment with sales growth targets and margin objectives.
- Push boundaries by challenging traditional industry practices and collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, production, marketing) to deliver customized solutions that meet customer needs.
- Support the business in leveraging value chain collaboration to enhance value creation and market positioning.
- Stay informed on industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements impacting PP applications in target markets
- Drive initiatives to improve product offerings in response to environmental concerns and demands for sustainable materials.
Competencies and skills
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in the European polypropylene market, with a strong focus on rigid packaging, personal Care and healthcare sectors.
- Proven track record of managing key accounts in high-value sectors.
- Strong analytical and strategic planning capabilities to navigate challenging market environment and competitive pressures effectively.
- Expertise in complex negotiations and relationship management with high-value clients.
- Ability to identify new business opportunities through market understanding and customer insights.
- Exceptional communication skills for engaging stakeholders across multiple levels within both the company and client organizations
- Proactive approach to problem-solving with a willingness to challenge conventional industry logic.
- Eagerness to push limits in pursuit of innovative solutions that drive mutual growth for the company and its customers.
