Site Finance Manager

As part of a Global international entity, Beaulieu Australia is an Australian manufacture of high-quality flooring. We are looking for leader who will help keep the company’s day to day transactional financial activities in check, ensuring we have accurate reporting and continual analysis of manufacturing operations. You will help drive our accounting operations and look for new ways to tighten up our process and reporting across the business.
About the Role
Monthly responsibilities
- Prepare month end balance sheet reconciliations
- Completion of monthly local executive reporting pack and monthly Belgium business reporting
- Oversee capital expenditure planning and tracking
- Oversee inventory accounting and valuation
- Manage obsolete and slow-moving inventory provisions to improve inventory turnover and working capital
- Provide monthly reporting for decision making – with the assistance of business Analyst
- Work collaboratively with the finance team to ensure month end is completed in a timely matter
Quarterly & Yearly
- Assist in tax compliance and regulatory standards
- Lead final year end accounts and annual audit
- Ensure accuracy via cycle counts and annual stock takes
- Complete forecast and budgeting process with Finance Director Oceania
Plant Controlling & Manufacturing Finance
- Develop and maintain standard costing models
- Perform and maintain variance analysis (material, labour, overhead
- Monitor KPIs such as OEE, scrap, yield, and efficiency
- Drive cost reduction and operational improvements
- Support product costing and margin analysis
Your profile
- CA/CPA qualified with a relevant professional qualification
- Minimum 5 years of experience in chartered accounting or industry experience
- Strong experience in manufacturing finance and cost accounting
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles, budgeting, forecasting, and auditing
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Analytical mindset with strong critical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Able to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and perform under pressure with resilience and reliability
- A stable, full-time role within a well-established Australian manufacturer with over 50 years of heritage
