Supply Chain Officer

We are a dynamic company committed to delivering high-quality products to our customers. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Officer to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the smooth and optimal flow of our supply chain, from raw material sourcing to final delivery.

As a Supply Chain Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless movement of materials and products through our supply chain. Under the guidance of the Supply Chain Manager and in collaboration with the Masterplanner, Logistics, and Operations teams, you will strive to optimize our supply chain processes and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Local Purchasing:
  • Assess and determine operational needs for raw materials.
  • Purchase raw materials in line with divisional guidelines and practices.
• Detailed Production Scheduling:
  • Schedule day-to-day work orders considering production preferences, sales priorities, and material groups.
  • Monitor production-ready dates against confirmed loading dates.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Lab to execute the production plan.
• Inventory Management:
  • Assist in managing inventory across our warehouses.
  • Help coordinate the handling of obsolete, rejected, and by-product stock.
• Logistics Coordination:
  • Work with the Supply Chain Manager to coordinate supply to external warehouses.
• Project Support:
  • Assist in continuous improvement projects within the Supply Chain.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in Dutch and English; knowledge of French is a plus.
