Beauflor EU, a member of the Beaulieu International Group, produces and commercializes Vinyl rolls In Europe and Exports. It has 2 production facilities: headquarters and a big plant in Wielsbeke and a plant in Slovenia.

In our ambition to create a more proactive and strategic approach to product marketing we wish to strengthen the role of product management within our Marketing team and throughout our organization.  The efforts now are mainly reactive, based on sales input and copying best practices from the market and with a strong focus on SKU management (phase-in/phase-out).

We are looking for an experienced freelance consultant in product management with excellent people skills. 

The Marketing team is headed by the Product & Marketing Director, and consists of 2 Product Managers(+ Product Mgt Assistant)

The project would span over approximately 9-12 months

First it is a replacement of one of our current Product Managers (Maternity Leave)

After that period the focus will be guiding and coaching our current Product Managers in:

• improving the project management skill set of the team (roadmap and launch process)
• improving the internal communication flow to support sales (defining differentiating USPs, creating powerful positioning statements,...)
• improving the current go to market strategy
• building the necessary market insights for our category's 4 core regions
• professionalizing the market and competitor analysis (SWOT, pricing, product comparison, marketing & distribution, product positioning)
• professionalizing the product development process
