As our pricing & commercial expert, you will be responsible as a division for the execution and implementation of the pricing & commercial excellence program.


It is almost impossible to describe the position in a few bullet points as there is so much variety of projects and challenges in this role. Typical for the organization and this position for sure is change. Supervise projects, use peope skills to get everyone on the same page. Some of the possible tasks and responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for the divisional implementation of the pricing & commercial excellence initiatives and tailoring them to the specifics of the division.
  • Monitor timelines and support reporting to stake-holders on the results and progress of the local implementation.
  • Ensure that pricing & commercial excellence initiatives are aligned with the business needs of the division.
  • Represent the division in the pricing & commercial excellence program, aligning divisional requirements with the central Comex organization.
  • Perform analysis of internal and external sales & marketing data to guide decisions and propose solutions and improvements.
  • Ensure implemented initiatives are maintained within the division and initiate recurring reviews.
  • Manage relevant stakeholders (both cross-divisional and cross-divisional) to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and within scope.
  • Work closely with our ICT department to develop appropriate methodologies and tools to facilitate data analysis and reporting.
  • You will report directly to our Sales Director


We think that following competencies and skills can support you in this role: 

  • Master's degree in economics or equivalent through experience
  • Experience in a similar function
  • Familiar with value based pricing, pricing system, competitive sale price quoting, product portfolio management....
  • Familiar with customer segmentation, strategic account planning, go-to-market strategy
  • Knowledge of CRM/ CPQ champion 
  • Detail-oriented, self-directed, organized and efficient in time management
  • You have thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office, data warehouses and reporting tools.
  • You have affinity with SAP, Salesforce and preferably PowerBI
  • Knowledge of Dutch and English is necessary in this position.
