Your mission will be to enhance our market position and achieve financial growth. You will play a crucial role in driving the company's growth by identifying and quantifying new business opportunities, understanding market needs, and developing long-term organisational strategic goals. 

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a passion for customer relationships and an extensive knowledge of current market conditions.


Key Responsibilities

 

  • Be fully involved in the innovation process, helping to define and implement strategies for sustainable business development.
  • Write business plans for new opportunities, gathering inputs from various function domains.
  • Develop deep market insights and document them to create solutions that address industry needs.
  • Build and maintain an internal and external network to anticipate industry trends and emerging needs.
  • You actively scouts and raises new opportunities to the Corporate Development team from in depth market understanding.
  • Act as a Project Manager for multidisciplinary strategic projects.
  • Increase sales opportunities and maximize revenue for the Fibres organization.
  • In this role, you will work closely together with the Sales, Innovation team and Marketing team.
  • Daily and frequent contacts with prospects and customers, suppliers, other companies with which partnerships can be built
  • You will build up and maintain relationships trough a broad network of partners: machine manufacturers, test institutes, trade associations, norms and standardization committees, end customers, seminars, tradeshows,… 

 

Qualifications and Skills

 

  • Master’s degree - business engineering / master in commercial sciences or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience
  • Demonstrated business acumen incl. knowledge of manufacturing, finance and/or marketing. 
  • Fluent in English
  • You are committed team player but you also love to work independently 
  • You have strong communication/negotation and reporting skills  
  • Ability to build and maintain a relevant network in the industry
  • Willing to travel on a regular basis (<20%, mostly within Europe)
  • Strong curiosity for new business models, innovations, technology
