A new challenge?
As our Development Engineer, you will work closely with Development & Innovation Manager, support the design, testing, sampling, and industrialization of new products while ensuring technical excellence and customer satisfaction.
Main responsibilities and key tasks
- Execute development projects across all phases (STA/IND1/IND2) under the guidance of the Development & Innovation Manager.
- Translate customer requests into technical solutions.
- Prepare and verify samples in collaboration with Quality department to ensure compliance with standards.
- Offer logistics support to the sales team: samples, color books, boxes,…
- Support the transfer of successful developments into production.
- Contributes ideas to new technical, commercial developments and innovative projects.
- Maintain accurate records in development databases (SharePoint, etc.).
- Set up SOP for relevant processes in product development.
- Submit regular report on periodical summaries, reflections and areas of improvement.
- Participate in customer visits and technical discussions when required.
- Follow safety, health, and environmental regulations in daily work.
- Other projects/tasks assigned by Development & Innovation Manager.
Competences and skills
- You have a batchelor or above degree in Material Science or equivalent experience, preferably majored in polymer, chemical, or textile engineering.
- You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- You have ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- You have professional reporting and writing skills.
- You have customer oriented mindset.
Languages
You have a good knowledge of English.
