We are looking for an experienced Market Intelligence Consultant to join the Strategy Team on a part-time interim basis (3days/wk) ideally between 8th September to 27th February. This role will provide maternity leave cover and support ongoing strategic projects across market analysis, customer research, and business development initiatives.
The consultant will play a key role in gathering, analysing, and interpreting both qualitative and quantitative data to support business decisions. The role requires hands-on experience in conducting interviews, developing interview guides, synthesizing insights, and presenting results clearly to internal stakeholders.
Main projects (not limited to):
- Flooring market analysis

- Evaluate market sizes by region and product category
- Analyse competitors and identify market trends
- Support commercial teams with structured insights
- Customer loyalty research and activation

- Conduct interviews with customers and internal stakeholders
- Develop interview and survey guides
- Lead analysis and interpretation of customer feedback
- Facilitate internal activation workshops
- Business development and innovation research

- Conduct go-to-market and opportunity analysis
- Support commercial teams with structured insights on go-to-market and potential leads
- Identify potential partnerships and new business opportunities
- Provide insight to support product development strategies
- Ad-Hoc research projects

- Maintain and update internal Market Intelligence resources
