Learning & Development Specialist

Main responsibilities and key tasks 
•    You search, design and implement effective methods of knowledge sharing and training programs
•    You assist in designing, planning and organizing training and development programs to improve individual and organizational performance (both outsourced and in-house)
•    You provide guidance to and advise learners on their learning & development journeys
•    You develop learning calendars and journeys for individuals and for specific groups of learners
•    You assist with day to day operations of the Talent Development & Learning function, including administrative support
•    You assess training effectiveness to ensure incorporation of taught skills and techniques into employees work behavior
•    You periodically evaluate ongoing programs to ensure that they reflect any changes
•    You stay abreast of the new trends and tools in employee development
•    You will take the role of key user for our learning management system and support the further roll-out globally, including learning administration
•    You manage our learning platforms and seek ways to inspire colleagues to sign up for online courses


Competencies and skills 
•    You have built up expertise in learning & development or you are interested to become a learning expert
•    You are hands-on and have a proactive approach
•    You are a problem-solver and show decision-making aptitude
•    You are a team player
•    You have proficiency in MS Office
•    You have strong communication skills and excellent organizational skills
•    You enjoy working autonomously
•    You are willing to develop continuously, i.e. you are a learning enthousiast yourself

•    You are fluent in English and have a basic knowledge of Dutch
•    Knowledge of any other language is an asset
