Pricing & commercial Expert

A new challenge? 
As our pricing & commercial excellence lead, you are the divisional responsible for the execution and implementation of the pricing & commercial excellence program.

Main responsibilities and key tasks 


•    You are responsible for the divisional implementation of the pricing & commercial excellence initiatives, adopting them to the specificities of the division. 
•    You translate the pricing excellence projects (value based pricing, pricing system, competitive sale price quoting, product portfolio management….) into actionable governance, system support, guidelines and templates.
•    You translate the commercial excellence projects (customer segmentation, strategic account planning, go-to-market strategy…) into actionable governance, guidelines and templates.
•    You set-up and monitor timelines and support report-out towards stake-holders on the results and progress of the local implementation.
•    With a clear business focused mindset, you ensure that pricing & commercial excellence initiatives are aligned with divisional business needs.
•    You represent the division in the pricing & commercial excellence program, making sure the divisional requirements are aligned with and captured by the central Comex organization.
•    You execute analysis of internal and external sales & marketing data to steer decisions, to propose solutions and enhancements. 
•    You ensure the implemented initiatives are divisionally maintained and you initiate the recurrent reviews (e.g. pricing review, customer segment updates, strategic account plan follow-up…).
•    You manage the relevant stakeholders (both divisional as cross-divisional) to ensure the projects will be executed on-time, on-budget and on-scope. 
•    You work closely with our ICT department to build the right methodologies and tools to facilitate data analysis and reporting.
•    You report directly to the sales & marketing director soft flooring.


Competencies and skills 

•    You possess a master degree in economics or equivalent by experience
•    Having at least four years of experience in a similar position
•    You are detail oriented, self-directed, organized and efficient at time management
•    In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office, Data Warehouses and reporting tools
•    You have an affinity with SAP, Salesforce and preferably PowerBI




We require a fluent written and spoken knowledge of Dutch and English.
