Area Sales Manager North-Europe

To realize our growth ambitions, we are looking for an Area Sales Manager to promote & sell our Tradeshow Softflooring Solutions in region North (BENELUX – SCAN).
Main responsibilities and key tasks
You will promote and sell the full range Tradeshow Softflooring products, mainly into wholesale channels. You will inherit a strong base of existing accounts and your job will be to manage these accounts while developing new business alongside them to maximise growth for the area.
• Together with the RSM NORTH, develop sales strategy for the region and set sales objectives
• You develop and drive sales to maximise growth & profitability of the area
• You strive to reach and exceed sales targets
• You promote, introduce and sell our Softflooring products within the area
• You manage major B2B key accounts (KAM) focusing on maintaining a long term relationship, maximizing sales opportunities and increasing Share of Wallet
• You develop your region and identify growth opportunities, you follow up on new leads and pursue the most promising opportunities until contract signature
• You contribute to increasing brand awareness in your region by efficiently using the available marketing tools
• You liaise with internal support staff (Marketing, Product Management, Quality and Supply chain) to engage the entire company more deeply with our customers and to maximise sales within your territory.
• You gather and manage customer feedback, market research, relevant competitive intelligence data to contribute to the company’s product and market development plans and strategic initiatives
• You will be reporting to the RSM NORTH and working closely together with the Business Development Manager Tradeshow
Competencies and skills
• Preferably economical and/or engineering background
• First experience of 3 years in technical sales
• Strong communication and commercial skills
• You are proficient in Dutch, English and French; knowledge of another language is an asset
• You are an initiator who works efficiently, structured and result oriented (project management)
• Affinity towards marketing
• You are eager to learn
• Willing to travel up to 30% in your region
