As our CPQ Product Owner, you will be responsible for
- Building, steering and executing a strategic roadmap for digital CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) pricing enablement;
- Executing the CPQ business plan and support various (Value Based) pricing projects;
- Steering projects with smart KPI to drive profitable growth;
This is what we expect from you:
- You develop and get alignment and agreement on the product strategy and roadmap for CPQ as a tool for price negotiations and margin improvement for all B.I.G. divisions.
- You assume the business and functional lead role and you have the product ownership of B.I.G.’s CPQ project.
- You coordinate the existing and future digital pricing projects and experiments within B.I.G.
- Together with the Pricing manager and CRM & B2B product owners, you translate analysis into a CPQ strategy and quantitative business plan including milestones and KPI’s.
- You build a commercial CPQ mindset with focus on a cross-functional matrix organization: align on regular basis with customer service departments, local pricing experts, sales, marketing, ICT and external partners to assure value creation through CPQ.
- You lead and participate in the various Value Based Pricing Projects which are a prerequisite for the CPQ implementations.
- You communicate the agile method and roles and responsibilities to key stakeholders involved in projects.
- You report directly to our Pricing Excellence Manager.
Things that define you:
- You have an in-depth understanding of all aspects of pricing and CPQ.
- You have the capability to guide people through change processes.
- You have the ability to think and act pragmatically on the adoption of CPQ, balancing this with other change objectives at B.I.G., and realistically assessing the pace of change possible.
- You have strong analytical and project management skills.
Formalities:
- You hold a master’s degree or equivalent experience.
- You have a minimum of 4 year experience in CPQ and pricing.
- Preferably, you are skilled in:
- successfully deploying and actively using quotation tools such as Salesforce CPQ.
- managing a portfolio of pricing projects across people, process, technology, governance, etc. to meet business needs.
- integrating other initiatives such as Product portfolio Management, Value based pricing, ERP pricing into digital projects.
